About the role
We are seeking Technical Operations Associates to support our manufacturing operation. Based at our London site, this is a hands-on, on-site role working closely with the Manufacturing, Process & Equipment teams.
You will be responsible for operating manufacturing processes while supporting process improvements, troubleshooting, and the development of more efficient ways of working.
This is not a traditional operator role - you will play an active part in understanding how the process works and contributing to its ongoing optimisation.
Tasks and responsibilities
Operate manufacturing processes across:
component handling
Assembly
kitting and packaging
Follow and contribute to standard work and SOPs
Support manufacturing execution, data acquisition and line improvements
Identify and escalate process issues and deviations
Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Support equipment operation and basic maintenance activities
Contribute to process improvements and optimisation activities
Assist in the development and testing of new processes
Ensure accurate completion of manufacturing records
Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and control
Qualifications
Degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline
Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
Practical, hands-on mindset with problem-solving ability
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills
Desirable
Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments
Experience working with laboratory equipment or technical processes
Exposure to continuous improvement or process optimisation
Experience in regulated environments (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485)
Interest in continuous improvement and engineering systems
This is a hands-on role within a growing manufacturing team, where you will contribute to the development and optimisation of robust processes and systems. You will play an important role in supporting reliable and scalable manufacturing operations.
